Former Chatsworth Woman Taylor Perring-Bates Dies in Crash on U.S. 24
Pontiac, Illinois (February 1, 2018) — According to a Livingston County coroner report, a 26-year-old Bloomington woman was killed in a head-on collision Tuesday night in Livingston County.
The fatal collision took place at around 7:06 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, about one-eighth of a mile west of Livingston County Road 3000 East on U.S. 24 near Forrest.
According to the coroner’s report, 26-year-old Taylor Perring-Bates formerly off Chatsworth was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze when she collided head-on with a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country minivan,
Perring-Bates was declared deceased at the scene and the occupants of the minivan were taken by an ambulance from the incident site in unknown condition.
An autopsy to determine the cause of Perring-Bates’ death has been scheduled for Thursday.
An investigation into the crash is still underway.
