Pedestrian Hit and killed in Car Crash on Interstate 435 near Grandview Road
Kansas City, Missouri (Jan 28, 2018) – According to a local source, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Saturday night in Kansas City.
The accident occurred at about 8:00 p.m. Jan 27, on Interstate 435 near Grandview Road.
According to Missouri Department of Transportation, police responded to the crash at 8:11 p.m.
Police said a silver Kia was eastbound in the left lane of I-435 when it struck a pedestrian. As per the police, the driver told investigators a person ran into the front side of his car and did not see the person leading to the crash.
Five lanes were closed by the police on eastbound Interstate 435 as the crash was being investigated.
The involved Motorist stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. The identity of the victim was not disclosed.
The crash remained under investigation.
