Woman Injured in Two-vehicle Crash on US 60 in Newton County
Newton County, Missouri (January 9, 2018) – A woman was rushed to a hospital on Monday evening following a vehicle collision in Newton County, according MSHP.
The accident took place at an intersection on US 60, about two miles east of Neosho at around 6 p.m. on Monday, January 9.
Troopers said the crash occurred when the driver of a 2008 Mercury Sable traveling northbound on US 60, failed to yield to oncoming traffic at the intersection and pulled in front of a 2018 Peterbilt Conventional.
The driver of the Sable was taken to Freeman West Hospital Joplin with moderate injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
