Boone County, Missouri (February 25, 2018) – A driver was injured early Saturday morning when he crashed into a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway in Boone County.

The crash happened on Interstate 70 on the Perche Creek Bridge at around 1:10 a.m. Saturday, February 24, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

24-year-old William R. Miller of St. Louis was driving a 2011 Lincoln MKZ westbound on Interstate 70 when he slammed into the side of an unoccupied 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix stopped in the roadway.

University Ems crews transported Miller to University Hospital with minor injuries.

Both vehicles were totaled.
