Steven Prine and Joan Prine Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 7 in Benton County
Benton County, Missouri (March 6, 2018) – Two Warsaw residents were hospitalized with serious injuries after an accident where their vehicle was struck from behind in Benton County on Tuesday morning.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on Highway 7, just north of KK at around 7:54 a.m.
Vonda K. Waggoner, 52, of Warsaw was the driver of a 2002 Dodge truck that was heading north on Highway 7 when she attempted to overtake and crashed into the rear of a 2018 Hyundai that was slowing down for traffic.
The driver of the Hyundai, Steven L. Prine, 70, and his passenger, Joan Prine, 70, both of Warsaw, were taken to Golden Valley with serious injuries.
There were no reports of other injuries.
The Hyundai was totally damaged in the accident. The Dodge had extensive damage after the incident.
