Chesterfield Man Scott Sterling Injured in High Ridge Crash on Highway 30
Scott Sterling, 52, Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 30 near Little Brennan Road in High Ridge
High Ridge, Missouri (December 24, 2017) – One person was injured Saturday evening when two vehicles collided on Highway 30 in High Ridge, Jefferson County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
The crash took place at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 on the eastbound Highway 30 west of Little Brennan Road.
MSHP said a 2015 Chevrolet City Express van, driven by Scott A. Sterling, 52, of Chesterfield and a 2014 Buick Encore, driven by Frank B. Bowlin, 75, of Fenton, were involved in the crash.
According to MSHP, Sterling, who had been traveling eastbound on Highway 30, was stopped at a red electric signal. Bowlin, also heading eastbound, slowed down but was unable to stop in time and crashed into the rear of the City Express van.
Scott sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to St. Lukes Hospital. Bowlin was not injured.
Both vehicles suffered minor damage in the crash.
No additional information was provided.
