On July 22nd at approximately 3:14 pm, Ruben Mitchell, 59, of Lathrop, MO was injured following an accident that occurred on Route C at Missouri 92.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Mr. William Lee, 47, of St. Joseph, MO, failed to stop at the intersection of Route C and MO 92.
Mr. William’s vehicle struck Mr. Mitchell’s vehicle as it was travelling westbound through the intersection. Mr. Mitchell suffered serious injuries and was transported via Kearney Fire to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Both parties were believed to be wearing their safety belts at the time of the incident.
