Robert Litteral, Norma Litteral Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at Routes 128 and 16 in Shelbyville
Shelbyville, Missouri (December 23, 2017) – Two people were on Tuesday afternoon injured in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection near Shelbyville, according to authorities.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Route 128 and Route 16, just west of Shelbyville on Tuesday, December 19.
A 2017 Dodge Ram pulling a trailer was being driven by Leslie L. Rickey, 76, of Hannibal, northbound on Route 128 when he disobeyed a stop sign at the intersection and struck a 2002 Buick Century Custom, driven eastbound on Route 16 by Robert W. Litteral, 87, of Shelbyville.
Litteral and his passenger, Norma Litteral, 88, of Shelbyville, were taken to HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital with unknown injuries.
Rickey sustained injuries but refused medication. He was cited for disobeying a traffic light.
