On what turned out to be an unlucky Friday the 13th, Natasha Isabel-Chamberlain and Mark Lovelace, both suffered injury in a car accident on West Outer Road in Bates County.
The accident began at approximately 4 pm when Ms. Isabel-Chamberlain’s Chevy Equinox crossed over the center line and struck Mr. Lovelace’s Ford truck head on.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Ms. Isabel-Chamberlain suffered moderate injury and had to be transported via medical transport helicopter to Centrepoint Medical Center for further observation and treatment.
Mr. Lovelace also suffered moderate injury, and also had to be transported via emergency helicopter ride to Research Medical Center for assistance.
Ms. Isabel-Chamberlain was not wearing her safety belt at the time of the crash.
