Naomi Keith and Alyssa Turek Injured in 3-Vehicle Accident on Galena Road in Kendall County
Kendall County, Illinois (January 1, 2018) – Two people sustained injuries in a head-on collision Thursday morning in Kendall County, according to the sheriff’s office.
The three-vehicle crash occurred at around 7 a.m. Thursday, December 28, on Galena Road, north of Plano.
The report stated that Naomi Keith, 21, of Waterman was traveling westbound on Galena Road when her vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Alyssa Turek, 22, of Sandwich.
A vehicle driven by a Sandwich woman, 49, was struck by debris from the crash.
Keith was transported by ambulance to Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora.
Turek was airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
The extent of the victim’s injuries was not released.
No other injuries were reported.
Keith was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash and driving an uninsured vehicle.
