On Friday, September 14, Maycie Frost, Huxley Manlove-Frost, Eva Hadsall, and Sharon Schlichting were all injured in a multi-car accident on MO-52 near Appleton City in St. Clair county.
The accident occurred at approximately 3:30 PM when Ms. Frost, 18, of Appleton City, struck the vehicle Ms. Hadsall, and Ms. Schlichting were traveling in from behind as they sat waiting to execute a turn.
Ms. Frost’s Chrysler Sebring was totaled in the incident. Ms. Hadsal’s Jeep Grand Cherokee also sustained significant damage and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
According to the official crash report Ms. Frost suffered moderate injury and had to be transported to Ellott Memorial Hospital via the St. Clair county ambulance service for further observation and treatment. Ms. Hadsall, and Ms. Schlichting also suffered moderate injury and also had to be transported by EMS to Ellott Memorial for further observation and treatment. Investigators believe both parties were wearing their safety belts at the time of the incident.
An infant, Huxley Manlove-Frost, was also involved in the incident though they sustained no injury.
