Man Dies in Kansas City Pedestrian Collision on SB 71 Highway
Kansas City, Missouri (March 5, 2018) – A man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle early Monday morning in Kansas City, according to authorities.
The accident took place at around 4:40 a.m. Monday, March 5, on 71 Highway.
Authorities said the male pedestrian was hit and killed by the car.
Details regarding the incident were not immediately available.
The incident led to a closure of the southbound lanes of 71 Highway at 55th Street for approximately 2 hours, but have reportedly reopened.
