Lanny and Marietta Jones injured in Pettis County wreck

At approximately 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 5, Lanny and Marietta Jones, and Andrew C. Webb, were all injured in a multi-car accident on US-65 at the MO-765 intersection. The accident began when Mr. Webb, 72, of Sedalia, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the Jones family as they passed through the intersection. According to the official crash report, both Marietta Jones and Lanny Jones were seriously injured. Mr. Webb also suffered moderate injuries, and all parties had to be transported to area hospitals for further observation and treatment. All parties were wearing their safety belts at the time of the incident.
