Kendrick Jefferson Injured in Rear-End Crash on I-170 in St. Louis County

St. Louis County, Missouri (January 8, 2018) – A man sustained injuries Sunday morning after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into another car in St. Louis County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident took place at around 9:20 a.m. Sunday, January 7, on Interstate 170 north of Natural Bridge.

A 2003 Saturn L-Series driven northbound on I-170 by 24-year-old Kendrick Jefferson of St. Louis experienced a blowout tire causing him to lose control and struck the rear passenger’s side of a northbound 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.

Jefferson was treated for minor injuries at SSM Health Depaul Hospital.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 77-year-old Jesse Hamilton, also of St. Louis, was unhurt.

Jefferson’s vehicle was towed from the scene with moderate damage.

Hamilton drove his vehicle with minor damage.
