Katherine Foxe ID’d as Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Route 120 in Grayslake
Grayslake, Illinois (February 2, 2018) –Authorities have identified a woman who was fatally injured in a head-on crash in Grayslake on Monday as Katherine Foxe, 63, of Sussex, Wisconsin.
The deadly crash took place at around 11 a.m. Monday, January 29, on Route 120 west of Belle Court.
According to a preliminary investigation report, a Toyota Echo, driven by Foxe, was traveling west on Route 120 when it crossed the centerline and was hit by an eastbound Honda CRV.
One person was extricated from their vehicle in the crash. Both Foxe and the driver of the CRV were transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville for treatment where Foxe was later pronounced dead, authorities said.
Authorities said Foxe died from multiple traumatic injuries related to the crash.
Route 120 was closed several hours on Monday during an investigation.
