Jordan Mayle Injured in 2-Vehicle Wreck on I-70 in Boone County
Boone County, Missouri (January 30, 2018) – A West Plains woman suffered moderate injuries when her vehicle was rear-ended by another car early Monday morning in Boone County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Jordan Mayle, 23, was hospitalized after the crash that took place on Interstate 70 west of Mile Marker 120.4 at around 12:30 a.m. Monday, January 29.
MSHP said a 2004 Ford Explorer that was being driven eastbound on I-70 by John I. Piper, was traveling behind a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria at close proximity when it slammed into its back.
Mayle was the driver of the Ford Crown and was transported to University Hospital by University Ems.
Piper, a 32-year-old Caldwell man, was not injured.
Troopers said both drivers were wearing their safety belts.
