James K. Klump injured in Perry county tractor trailor accident

In an unusual tractor-trailer on tractor-trailer accident, Illinois big-rig operator James K. Klump was injured in the incident on Thursday, May 31st. The accident began when a big-rig operated by Charles Barber of Cadet, MO, was partially turned on it’s side by a strong wind. The wind flipped Mr. Barber’s trailer into the adjoining lane, where Mr. Klump unexpectedly struck it. According to the crash report, Mr. Klump’s injuries were unfortunately severe. He was transported to St. Francis Medical Center for further observation and treatment. Mr. Barber was unharmed, and released at the scene.
