31-Year-Old Joplin Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Dodge Pickup on State Highway V
Daven Divine, 31, Killed in Pedestrian Crash on State Highway V in Joplin
Joplin, Missouri (December 23, 2017) – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, A pedestrian collision Thursday night in Joplin left one person dead.
The crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, December 23, on State Highway V, about one mile north of Carthage.
Authorities said 31-year-old Daven Divine, of Joplin, was struck by a 2003 Dodge 2500 pickup truck which was headed westbound on the highway.
The Missouri State Patrol said that Divine was declared deceased at the accident scene while the driver of the truck was not hurt in the crash.
The driver was reportedly wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
