Man Hospitalized with Serious Injuries after McDonald County Crash on Hwy H
Danny Hall Seriously Hurt in Head-On Collision on Highway H near Pineville in McDonald County
McDonald County, Missouri (January 18, 2018) – A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a head-on collision on Thursday morning near Pineville, according to MSHP crash reports.
The accident happened at around 10:35 a.m. Thursday, January 18, on Highway H, about five miles west of Pineville.
Troopers said Danny C. Hall, 55, of Halfway, was driving a 2014 Ram 5-Door Cargo van westbound on Highway H when he crossed the centerline, causing the driver of an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer to drift across the centerline in an attempt to avoid a crash.
The vehicles ended up colliding and the impact caused the Chevrolet to drive off the left side of the road.
Hall was hospitalized at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
No other injuries were reported.
Both vehicles were totally damaged in the crash and were towed by Gardner’s Towing Pineville.
