Cynthia Sager, 62, Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on Mo. 13 near Rt. T in Bolivar
Bolivar, Missouri (December 19, 2017) – A female passenger sustained injuries in a two-car crash Wednesday evening in Bolivar, according to the Bolivar Police Department.
The authorities identified the woman as 62-year-old Cynthia Sager, of Dunnegan.
The incident happened at precisely 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 13 on Mo. 13 near Rt. T.
Troopers said that a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Bryan Sager, 63, of Dunnegan, was headed north on Mo. 13, crossing the Rt. T overpass, before it was hit from the behind by a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta driven by 18-year-old Tanner Swenson, of Kansas City. The Chevrolet then rolled onto the driver’s side and went off the highway onto the grassy shoulder before landing on its wheels due to the impact of the crash.
Sager’s passenger, Cynthia Sager, was transported to Citizens Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The two vehicles were towed away from the crash scene.
Investigators said that distraction was the cause of the incident.
