Curtis Quick Hurt in 2-Car Crash on Highway 7 in Henry County

Henry County, Missouri (January 26, 2018) – A Creighton man was transported to a hospital after a car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Henry County, according to MSHP

The accident took place at around 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, on Highway 7 near Bridge K00007

State Troopers reported that 22-year-old Curtis A. Quick of Creighton was the driver of a 2001 SIL Saturn LS that was traveling northbound on Highway 7 at a relatively low speed when he was rear-ended by a 2013 Chevrolet Utility truck that was being driven by 49-year-old Chester L. Jones of Clinton.

The impact caused the Saturn to travel off the right shoulder of the road and crash into a tree.

Quick was not wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers. He sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Lifelight Eagle to Research Hospital in Kansas City.

Jones was wearing a seatbelt and was unhurt. He was able to drive his vehicle from the scene.

Quick’s vehicle sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Golden Valley Tow, Clinton.
