Jefferson County, Missouri (February 23, 2018) – A man was injured in a collision involving two vehicles on Thursday evening in Jefferson County, according to MSHP.

The wreck happened on 1730 Old Highway M at around 6:25 p.m. Thursday, February 22.

30-year-old Christopher W. Kovach was driving a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire westbound on Old Highway M when he made a stop to make a left turn and was rear-ended by a 1997 GMC Jimmy, driven by 20-year-old Jade N. Berry.

Kovach suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Anthony’s Medical Center with minor injuries.

Both drivers were wearing their safety belts at the time of the accident.

The two vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.
