Christian County, Missouri (January 31, 2018) – A 66-year-old woman was hurt in a collision between two vehicles on Tuesday morning in Christian County, according to a report by the State Troopers.

The incident took place on Highway 65, approximately two miles south of Ozark at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 30.

Troopers said a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan was heading north on Highway 65 when the driver, Christopher P. Gaut, 41, of Branson, made a stop due to traffic and was rear-ended by a 2011 Chrysler T&C that was being driven by Carol A. Smith, 66, also of Branson.

Smith was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
