Aydin Garcia Among Five Injured in Cole Station Crash on Route 121
Aydin Garcia, Adrienne Powell, and 3 Other Hospitalized in 2-Vehicle Crash on Route 121 at Coles Station
Mattoon, Illinois (March 5, 2018) – Five people were injured following a two-vehicle collision Saturday night at Coles Station, Coles County Sheriff’s Office said.
The accident occurred at about 11 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Route 121 at Coles County Road 1000N.
According to the Coles County Sheriff’s Office, Aydin Garcia, 18, of Mattoon was driving a vehicle north on Route 121 when his car was hit by a vehicle driven by a vehicle driven westbound on 1000N by Adrienne Powell, 29, of Mattoon.
Garcia and his passenger, Makayla N. Watkins, 19, Powell and Powell’s passenger, Lori R. Flinspach, 56, were all taken by emergency responders to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, authorities said.
Powell’s other passenger, 48-year-old Kerri J. Roley was transported to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, the report said.
