On May 19th at approximately 11:05 pm, Austin Colston, 23, of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Jonathan Brooks, 39, of Richmond, MO, were injured following an accident that occurred on MO 210 just east of HWY T. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mr. Colston’s vehicle was involved in the accident because his vehicle was travelling eastbound in the westbound lane. Mr. Brooks was unable to stop his vehicle and avoid a collision and struck Mr. Colston’s vehicle. Mr. Brooks suffered moderate injuries while Mr. Colston suffered serious injuries. All injured parties were transported via EMS to nearby medical centers to be treated.
