Anthony Pugh Ejected and Injured in Two-vehicle Crash on I-35 in Clinton County

Clinton County, Missouri (January 9, 2018) – A Grandview driver was hospitalized after losing control of his vehicle and colliding with another on Monday morning in Clinton County.

The MSHP reported that the crash happened at around 9:25 a.m. Monday, January 8, on Interstate 35 at Mile Marker 41.8, about four miles northeast of Lathrop.

According to the report, Anthony D. Pugh, 43, of Grandview was driving a 1997 Ford F-150 northbound on I-35 when he lost control of the vehicle, traveled across the median and into the southbound lanes, where the vehicle was struck by a 2016 Peterbilt. The impact of the crash caused the Ford to catch fire.

Pugh was rushed to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Peterbilt, James E. Manley, 43, of Cameron, was unhurt in the crash.

No other injuries were reported.
