Anthony Price Injured in St. Louis County Crash with Construction Truck on I-70
St. Louis County, Missouri (February 24, 2018) – A man was taken to hospital after an accident where a construction vehicle stopped along the roadway was rear-ended by a passing vehicle on Friday afternoon in St. Louis County.
According to MSHP, the accident happened at around 1:40 p.m. Friday, February 23, on Interstate 70 east of the Blanchette Bridge.
Anthony J. Price, 47, of St. Louis was sitting in a 2014 International 7400 along eastbound I-70 when he was rear-ended by a 2001 GMC Sierra that was attempting to avoid traffic ahead by slowing and swerving to the right.
Price was taken by Pattonville Ambulance District to SSM Health Depaul Hospital with moderate injuries.
Brenden D. Goforth, 22, of Festus was identified as the driver of the GMC and was not injured.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.
