Anthony Heintzelmann Injured in Lincoln County Vehicle Wreck on Ethlyn Road
Lincoln County, Missouri (February 9, 2018) – A Winfield teenager was injured in a two-car collision at an intersection in Lincoln County on Thursday evening.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Ethlyn Road and Country View Lane at around 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8.
A 2013 Buick Lacrosse was attempting to make a left turn onto Country View Lane from south Ethlyn Road when it entered into the path of a northbound 2002 Suzuki RM125.
The vehicles collided head-on and caused the Suzuki to overturn, and its driver was ejected.
Anthony R. Heintzelmann, 17, of Winfield was the driver of the Suzuki and suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Mercy Hospital Lincoln.
The driver of the Buick, Linda G. Holmes, 30, of Moscow Mills, was not injured.
Both drivers had their seatbelts on, MSHP said.
