At approximately 12:15 pm on May 5th, 4 adults and 1 minor were injured in a multi-car accident just south of Clever, MO, in Christian County. The accident began when John Hines, 47, Nixa, MO, was stopped while preparing to make a turn. Mr. Hines was struck from behind by Lawrence Stoner, 46, Rogersville, and then forced into the back of a vehicle driven by Nicholas Rogowski, 38, of Clever. Mr. Hines and Mr. Stoner were both hurt, as were passengers Kristina D. Mullins-Hines, Heather Campbell, and Daeton Mullins. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report, all 5 were moderately injured. Mr. Rogowski was examined on the scene and released, the rest were transported to local area hospitals for treatment.
