Bus Driver and 3 Passengers Hurt in North Lawndale Crash on Roosevelt Road
4 Injured after Driver Slammed into CTA Bus on Roosevelt Road in North Lawndale
North Lawndale, Illinois (January 14, 2018) – Four people were hospitalized following a collision involving a CTA bus in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side early Sunday morning, as per a Chicago Police.
The accident happened at around 1:25 a.m. Sunday, January 14, on Roosevelt Road in North Lawndale.
According to authorities, a car was going east on Roosevelt Road when it slammed into the middle of the CTA bus driven by a 41-year-old man as it traveled south on Homan Avenue.
The bus driver was transported to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized and three other passengers who were traveling in the bus were also taken to hospitals, but in good condition, police said.
Citations were not issued in the crash.
