3 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-57 in Franklin County
Franklin County, Illinois (March 3, 2018) – According to a local news source, three people sustained injuries in a three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Franklin County.
The crash took place at about 2:28 p.m. Friday, March 2 at mile marker 80 on Interstate 57.
As per Illinois State Police, a pickup was pulling a trailer on the roadway. The semi-truck driver did not see the trailer being pulled, the driver collided with the pickup.
The pickup overturned several times and ended up in the median.
Two people in the pickup were injured. One was airlifted and the other was taken to the hospital
