Independence, Missouri (January 17, 2018) – Three people were injured in a head-on collision in Independence Tuesday night, according to a police report.
The accident happened at around 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, on 24 Highway near MO-291.
According to Independence Police Department report, a westbound vehicle crossed the centerline on 24 Highway and side-swiped an eastbound car.
Three people suffered minor injuries and the wreck, and two of the victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
