24-Year-Old Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Moline Crash on 4th Avenue

Moline, Illinois (December 21, 2017) – A motorcyclist suffered critical injuries in a vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon in Moline, according to a report by the Moline Police Department.

The crash took place at around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, in the 4800 block of Fourth Avenue.

Police said the crash involved a motorcycle and an SUV.

The 24-year-old motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Genesis Health System’s Illini Campus, and later airlifted to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

The occupants of the SUV were a 31-year-old driver and three children.

One child was taken to Unitypoint Health-Trinity Rock Island with non-life-threatening injuries.
