1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Head-On Wrong-Way Crash on New Florissant Road in Florissant
St. Louis, Missouri (January 30, 2018) – According to a police report, one person was killed and two others hurt in a head-on, wrong-way collision Saturday night in Florissant.
The fatal crash took place at around 9:00 p.m. in the 200 block of New Florissant Road.
The police report stated that a car was headed northbound on New Florissant Road at a higher rate of speed, more than 90 mph when it veered into the southbound lanes and hit two other southbound cars.
The driver of one of the southbound vehicles succumbed to injuries on Sunday while the driver of the northbound car was transported to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
