Three Missouri residents, Holloway, Morey, and Adams, injured in Pettis County big-rig wreck

At approximately 8 am on April 10th, four vehicles were involved in a serious multi-car accident at the intersection of US Highway 50 and Westwood Drive. The accident began when a tractor-trailer operated by Mr. Michael Neblett, 61, of Vienna, MO, slammed into the back of a 2017 Dodge Caravan driven by Cathy Holloway, 50, of Sedalia. Ms. Holloway then slammed into a 2008 Toyota 4runner operated by Stephanie J. Morey, 34, of Jefferson City. Ms. Morey’s vehicle in turn struck a Chevrolet Colorado being driven by Mr. Glen Adams. Mr. Adams wife, Linda Adams, received minor injuries and refused EMS assistance at the scene. The other two women were transported by the Pettis County Emergency Medical Service to Bothwell Hospital, and then later released.

A car accident can be a traumatic and exhausting event. We at the law offices of Kevin J. Roach wish all of the parties involved a speedy and thorough recovery.

The Legal Claims

Missouri offers a thorough though complex system of laws meant to protect those injured by the negligence of other people. All three injured parties would likely have claims against Mr. Neblett, his employer, and their insurer, for any lost wages, medical bills, and pain and suffering, occasioned by this accident. Furthermore, they would have claims for any property damaged due to the incident, i.e., any vehicle repair or replacement expenses.
