Santos De Dolmo, 51, Killed in 2-Car Crash on I-70 near Foristell in St. Charles County
St. Charles County, Missouri (January 16, 2018) – A woman who was killed in St. Charles County crash Monday morning has been identified as 51-year-old Santos Rivera Ayala De Dolmo, of Los Angeles, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash took place at around 7:30 a.m. Monday, January 15, on Interstate 70 near Foristell.
According to a Missouri Highway Patrol, Nadeira Dolmo Rivera, 23, was driving a Honda Civic westbound when he fell asleep on the wheel, traveled through the median, through the cable barriers then into oncoming traffic where the car struck an eastbound Chevy Malibu.
The Honda Civic had seven occupants. De Dolmo, who was a passenger in Nadeira’s vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Nadeira Rivera, a 21-year-old and a 35-year-old were in serious condition, and three children, ages 1, 3 and 5, sustain injuries.
One occupant of the other car, a 41-year-old woman from Warrenton was also in serious condition.
The left lane on I-70 Westbound at Route T/W was closed due to the crash and reportedly reopen at around 10:45 a.m., the patrol said.
No charges have been filed in the crash, but an investigation is still ongoing.
