Aaron Carr Killed in Semi-Truck-Pedestrian Crash on I-55 in Sangamon County
Sangamon County, Illinois (January 13, 2018) – A auto-pedestrian crash involving a semi-truck claimed the life of a Carlinville man early Saturday morning in Sangamon County.
According to a report, the accident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 55 near milepost 78.
Police said Momir Vujanic of Milwaukee, WI, was driving a semi-truck southbound on Interstate 55 when it struck the pedestrian, who was in the left lane of travel.
The victim, identified as Aaron Carr of Carlinville, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No one else was injured in the crash.
