Woman Killed and Driver Injured in St. Louis Crash at Mimika and West Florissant
St. Louis, Missouri (January 11, 2018) – A collision involving two vehicles in St. Louis Wednesday afternoon claimed a life of a 78-year-old woman.
The deadly accident happened at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, at the intersection of Mimika and West Florissant in St. Louis.
According to a report, Bernice Zahary, 78, entered the intersection of Mimika and West Florissant with a green electric signal when the driver of a 1997 Ford F350 slid while trying to stop at the red light striking her car.
Zahary was transported to a hospital for treatment where she was declared deceased while the driver of the Ford was to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, as per a report.
