St. Charles County, Missouri (December 31, 2017) – A rear-end collision on Interstate 70 in St. Charles County left two people nursing injuries on Saturday evening, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at around 6 p.m. Saturday, December 30, on Interstate 70 west of Bryan Road.

The report stated that Zachary C. Danger, 37, of Lake St. Louis, was driving a 2010 Volkswagen Routan eastbound on I-70 when he failed to slow in time and crashed into the back of a 2012 Buick Encore, driven by Rebecca M. Dunston, 35, of O’Fallon. The Buick had been traveling eastbound in front of Danger’s vehicle.

Dunston and a passenger in Zachary’s vehicle, Stephanie N. Danger, 36, of Lake St. Louis, were taken to St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis with minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
