Driver Killed and Another Injured in South County Crash at Baumgartner Road and Lemay Ferry Road
South St. Louis County (January 15, 2018) – One person was killed and another injured in a two-car wreck in St. Louis County Sunday morning, according to a police report.
The deadly incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday, January 14, at the intersection Baumgartner Road and Lemay Ferry Road in south St. Louis County.
According to a police report, a Jeep was driven through the intersection when it hit a passenger car that was traveling north on Lemay Ferry Road.
Police said both drivers sustained injuries in the crash and were taken to an area hospital for medical attention where the male driver of the passenger vehicle who has only been described as a man in his 20s was declared dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
An investigation into the deadly crash is still ongoing.
