Taurius Sistrunk Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on I-70 in St. Louis County

St. Louis County, Missouri (January 7, 2018) – A man was hospitalized on Friday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision in St. Louis County, according to a report by the MSHP.

The incident took place at around 4:19 p.m. Friday, January 5 on eastbound Interstate 70 near Mile Marker 237.2.

According to troopers, 70-year-old Jack R. King of Ferguson was driving a 2000 Saturn SL2 eastbound on I-70 when, for unknown reasons, he swerved onto the side and rear-ended a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was parked at the side of the road.

The driver of the Jeep, 24-year-old Taurius M. Sistrunk of St. Louis, was transported to SSM Health Depaul Hospital with moderate injuries.

King was unhurt in the crash.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Doc’s Towing.
