The Legal Claims

Missouri offers a thorough and robust system of personal injury laws meant to protect parties who are injured through another person’s negligent acts. Here, Mr. Vargas is likely at fault and the parties seeking compensation will be entitled to payment for any lost wages, pain and suffering, any damaged property, and any medical bills incurred as a result of the accident that are not a result of their own negligence. Further, the immediate family of the deceased may pursue their own claims for compensation through the Missouri wrongful death regime.
