Hannibal, Missouri (January 16, 2018) – One driver was injured in a two-car collision Monday night south of Hannibal, according to a news release from Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at around 6 p.m. Monday, January 16, on U.S. 61, 2 miles south of Hannibal.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 60-year-old Patrick G. Ryan, of New London was operating a 2017 Ford F150 northbound on U.S. 61, 2 miles south of Hannibal. Ryan then pulled over beside a disabled vehicle, partially blocking the driving lane when his car was struck by a 1999 Ford Ranger driven northbound by 34-year-old Daniel L. Wiggins, of Center.

The state patrol said Ryan sustained minor injuries and was transported to by Ralls County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

No one else was injured in the collision.
