St. Genevieve Man Mikayla Brillos Hospitalized After Car Crash on Missouri 32
Mikayla Brillos Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident on MO-32 in Ste. Genevieve
Ste. Genevieve, Missouri (January 9, 2018) – A two-vehicle collision Monday morning in Ste. Genevieve left a man nursing injuries, according to an MSHP report.
The incident took place on Missouri 32 at Schultze Lane around 11:20 am on Monday, January 8
Troopers’ report indicated that a 2005 Acura TL was traveling eastbound on Missouri 32 when it crossed the center line and collided with the left side of a 2009 International Durastar that was heading west.
The crash pushed the Acura off the left shoulder of the roadway and slammed into an embankment. The Durastar was also forced off the right shoulder of the roadway and rolled over.
The driver of the Acura, 19-year-old Mikayla C. Brillos, of Ste. Genevieve, was the only one who sustained injuries. He was transported to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital with injuries described as moderate.
The Acura and the Durastar sustained total and extensive damage respectively and were both towed from the scene.
