Boone County, Missouri (January 26, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized following a Tuesday morning crash involving a semi-truck in Boone County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and Angel Lane at around 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, January 23.

Troopers said a 2005 Freightliner Columbia, driven by Anthony W. Cole, 55, of Kansas City, was stopped in the median facing southbound on U.S. 63 when a 2016 Chevrolet Trax crashed into its trailer.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Mary F. Kenney, 66, of Columbia, was wearing a seatbelt and was transported by Ems to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

Cole was wearing a seatbelt and was unhurt.

The Chevrolet sustained total damage in the crash and was towed from the scene.
