Howell County, Missouri (February 25, 2018) – Two people were injured on Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in Howell County, according to the state troopers.

The crash occurred on U.S. 160 in Southfork at around 4:20 p.m. Friday, February 23.

Troopers said a 2006 Chrysler Sebring traveling westbound on U.S. 160 was stopped as the driver, Marissa K. Guerrero, 34, of West Plains, was attempting to make a left turn. The driver of a 1997 Plymouth Voyager van failed to stop in time and crashed into the rear of the Chrysler.

Guerrero suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.

The driver of the van, Robert L. Marshall, 24, of Tecumseh, sustained minor injuries but refused medication. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage, troopers said.
