Lisa Birch Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on MO 22 in Audrain County

Audrain County, Missouri (December 30, 2017) – A 25-year-old Sturgeon woman was hospitalized on Friday evening following a vehicle collision on MO 22 in Audrain county.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash took place at around 6:20 p.m. on Friday, December 29, on MO 22 north of Dinwiddie School Road.

Lisa M. Birch, 25, of Sturgeon, was driving a 2016 Honda CRV eastbound on MO 22 when the vehicle slid on the icy roadway, rotated and drifted into the path of westbound traffic, troopers said.

As the Honda rotated, it’s back collided with the front of a 2011 Chevrolet Impala driven westbound by Joey D. Moore, 45, of Houston, Mo.

Birch was wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ambulance to Boone Hospital with minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported from the crash.
