Katie Leutzinger injured in Crash with Freightliner on I-44 in Webster County

Webster County, Missouri (January 7, 2018) – A woman sustained injuries on Saturday when her vehicle overturned after being struck by a Freightliner in Webster County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred at around 11:48 p.m. Saturday, January 6, on Interstate 44, 9 miles east of Marshfield.

Police said a 2001 Honda Civic driven by Katie A. Leutzinger, 23, of Barnhart, was traveling eastbound on I-44 when it was struck by an eastbound 2014 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Adil A. Bussuri, 40, of Columbus, Ohio.

The impact caused the Honda to travel off the roadway and crash into an embankment before overturning.

Leutzinger sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital, Lebanon.

Bussuri was unhurt in the crash.

Leutzinger’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Marhsfield Towing.
