Hampel, Payne, Davis, and Locklear injured in Taney county wreck

On Friday, September 21, Benjamin Hampel, Kassidy Payne, Brandy Davis, and Gino Locklear were all injured in a multi-car accident on Highway 76, just west of Bradleyville, in Taney county.

The accident occurred at approximately 9:35 AM when 25-year old Benjamin Hampel lost control of his 1999 Ford Escort leading that vehicle to cross over the center line, striking the vehicle Brandy Davis was driving, and Gino Locklear was riding in as a passenger, head-on.

According to the official crash report all parties, drivers and passengers, suffered moderate injury and had to be taken to nearby hospitals for further observation and treatment by the Taney county emergency medical service. Authorities believe all parties were wearing their safety belts at the time of the incident.

Both vehicles suffered extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.

No criminal charges have been brought against either party.
