Girl Struck and Injured by Car at 12th Street and 21st Avenue in Moline
Moline, Illinois (January 20, 2018) – According to a Moline police, a girl was injured after she was hit by a car Friday morning in Moline.
The incident took place at around at 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of 12th Street and 21st Avenue near John Deere Middle School, Moline.
Police said that the girl was pinned underneath the car after the car struck her and bystanders rescued her by lifting the vehicle off the girl.
The medics took the girl to Trinity Rock Island and later transferred to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Further details regarding the incident were not immediately provided.
The incident temporarily closed down the roadway as authorities investigated the collision.
